Google chrome is officially getting rid of flash next month

Google has officially let us know that they are getting rid of flash next month, like loads of other browsers, only HTML5 will be supported. Why is Chrome getting rid of Flash? Well because it was good when it lasted but now in 2016 it's not as useful anymore.

HTML5 is way faster, more lightweight and overall it's just better to use. Google is not completely getting rid of Flash, though, Flash websites will still be able to get used, HTML5 will just be the default and Chrome will prompt you to load the page in Flash.

Chrome 55 will have completely gotten rid of Flash. This is expected as it follows many major other browsers such as Edge and Safari.
