Samsung will release Note 7 in China with better specs

As we know, the Galaxy S7 has been released and had over 200,000 pre-orders within the first 48 hours. That is twice as much as the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The Note 7 has pretty solid specs so far, 4GB Ram, expandable memory, water-resistant and comes with a 64GB model. But are those specs good enough? According to the amount of pre-orders and the hype of Note 7 it seems like everyone is satisfied. But maybe people of U.S. just aren't asking for enough.

In China the phone industry seems to be more competitive, enough to where Samsung had to up its game and release a 6GB Ram phone with 128GB Storage. This did disappoint many people that live in Korea and many other people around the globe. Samsung did hint that Note 7 model with higher specs might be released for the rest of us later on.

The big question is, do we need 6GB Ram phones? And why did U.S. only get the 64GB model? From what we know, the One Pus 3 has a 6GB Ram and users have not noticed a difference in speed when it comparing the Galaxy 7 and One Plus 3. And many carriers in U.S. will provide an extra 256GB Memory Card to expand your Note 7 storage. So releasing the Note 7 in U.S. with 6GB Ram and 128GB storage would have not made it a bigger selling point to consumers. And with 128GB, Samsung might not include the free 258GB SD Card. Which means users would have less space for their apps, photos and music.

Do you think Samsung made a mistake releasing Note 7 with better specs in China, for now?
