The Galaxy S7 will get some Note 7 features

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 should’ve been Samsung’s iPhone 7 killer, but Samsung failed their mission. Several Note 7 devisees exploded, melted or caught fire, so the Note 7 is now gone. Samsung has decided to let the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge be the substitutes for the Note 7.

The Note 7 and the S7 family has a very similar design, but the Note 7 is slightly bigger. The Note 7 also came with an S-Pen, while the Galaxy S7 don’t. Samsung wants former Note 7 owners and potential Note 7 owners to buy a Samsun Galaxy S7. Samsung has even given the S7 a bit of the Note 7 software, such as Always-On display. But some Note features isn’t possible to give to Samsung’s current flagship. As I said before, the S7 doesn’t come with an S-Pen, so some Note features can’t be used on it.

Some S7 users who have received the update have reported some errors and bugs. For an example, some users have a problem with notifications from Samsung’s mail application. But Samsung is probably working on solving this problem right now.

Did you own the Note 7, or did you want to buy it? Are you interested in buying the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge instead? Let us know your opinion!
