HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle for September release
In recent times, HTC has carved out a unique identity for its Desire smartphone lineup, with its most recent models featuring a unique "Splash" of colour on the back in the form of coloured specs of paint. But that's where their uniqueness tends to end, as their spec sheet doesn't usually feature anything special.
According to the latest leaks though, this may change with the next installments in the series, dubbed the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro, which could be available as early as September. First of all, the Desire 10 Lifestyle is the lower-end device of the two, with a large 5.5-inch 720p display, along with an unknown Snapdragon processor, 3GB of RAM and a generous 32GB of internal storage. Regarding its cameras, a 13MP shooter is expected on the rear, while a 5MP selfie sensor is expected up front. As well as all of this, the device is expected to feature BoomSound stereo speakers.
Regarding the more premium Desire 10 Pro, there are unfortunately no specs available as of yet, but two juicy renders have been leaked by Evan Blass, showing off the devices design, which may also hint at what we can expect from the Lifestyle model in terms of design.
From what can be seen, it appears as though the Pro model will feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear, something we hope HTC carries over to the Lifestyle model. As well as this, the camera appears to come coupled with a dual-LED flash and what may be phase-detection autofocus.
Finally, regarding its release, the renders hint at a possible September 20th reveal in London. What do you think of the devices? Let us know in the comments below!
