AT&T introduces cracked display service on November 15

Most smartphones today are designed to look good. The manufacturers also choose the best looking material for their phones. But sometimes can the coolest material be very slippery. People are also mostly using their phone with just one hand while doing other things like cooking food or walking etc. To use a slippery phone with just one hand is not a good combination. This can often result in that you drops your phone on the ground. You probably want to switch glass if your device has a cracked screen, but sometimes can it be hard to find a good display-repair store.

You will be able to fix your damaged screen at an AT&T store near you very soon. This service will start on November 15th. There are a couple of criteria for who is allowed to buy this service. First, you will need to be an AT&T subscriber. Second, you must have to be insured with the Mobile Insurance, Mobile Protection Pack or the Mobile Protection Pack for Business and Multi-Device Protection Pack programs. If you are both an AT&T subscriber and you are insured with any of these programs, is there just one more thing to do. You’ll need to pay $89 for this service.

If you have an iPhone you’ll probably be able to fix your cracked screen, because AT&T can repair the iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. It will be a little bit harder if you are using an Android device. AT&T will just be able to repair your device’s screen if you have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Galaxy S6. It’s actually pretty weird that you’re not going to be able to fix any newer device, like the Galaxy S7.

Here is some more information from AT&T:

When it launches this can be a pretty good option if you have an iPhone with a damaged display, but it’ll be harder for Android users. The American mobile operator will hopefully support more Android devices soon. What do you think about AT&T’s screen repair? Will you go to AT&T when you have a cracked display?
