Possible nexus devices in 2015

The Nexus 6 and its massive 5.96 inch display may have put some people off, with some loving the large screen and others feeling that it's simply far too big for daily use. If a new rumour is to be believed, Google is planning to keep everyone happy in 2015.

Rumours currently going around state that Google is working with LG and Huawei on two new Nexus smartphones for release this year. The LG model is reportedly working on a 5.2-inch display, hexa-core Snapdragon 808, and 2700mAh battery. Looks like that could be the next nexus 5. Meanwhile, Huawei are putting together a 5.7-inch screen, octa-core Snapdragon 810, and a larger 3500mAh battery to power those hungry components. This approach will reportedly come at the expense of a new Nexus tablet, as Google is said to be sticking with the Nexus 9.

Google has released just one Nexus phone each year, but in 2015 it might want to appease both sides of the Nexus 6 size argument by releasing two different sized devices. If the report is true, it’ll be interesting to see if Google responds to the other common complaint. The price, I really hope that this year they will offer one or both of these devices at the more affordable nexus 4 or nexus 5 price range.
