Apple iPhone 6 summary recap
The iPhone 6, is one of Apple's greatest products, but is it really that great?
It's one of the thinnest phones on the market but that meant they took out battery life and the camera has to be extruding. The new iPhone features the A8 64-bit dual-core processor which is 25% faster than the A7 and the graphics are a 50% faster than the previous iPhone.
The screen size is 4.7 inches and 1334 pixels by 750 pixels which is a 326 ppi display, one of Apple's retina displays. The iSight cameras feature an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. You can get the new iPhone in three finishes: silver, gold, and space gray.
It also has a 1810 mAh (milliamp-hours) battery which gets you 240 hours on standby or 10 hours screen on time. The iPhone 6 comes with three memory sizes; 16, 64, and 128 gigabytes, each adding $100 USD to the price.
One thing Apple kept the the same is the touch ID home button, Touch ID is a way to purchase/unlock via your iPhone without having to type in your password. My opinion of this new feature are very mixed.
Overall, It’s a great product from Apple, but they did introduce some features of the device that I don’t like. First, the phone is very slick. The curved sides don't give you much grip and the corners are very rounded; to have a good grip on this phone, you either need to put on a skin or you can get a case. Another thing is the camera. If you don’t have a case on the phone, and you are texting on the table, the phone will rock because of the extruding camera. So, this product is great for the average consumer, but if you are looking for a phone with a little better specs or options you will have better luck with other phones.
