Samsung has made it clear, that the future of high-definition displays is clear. As in clear-ish glass you can see through.

Soon you'll be able to mount a Samsung TV in your home without sacrificing valuable wall space.

Samsung claims their see-through OLED display is four times more transparent than competitors' LCD-baesd designs. It's also got a broader color gamut, higher contrast ratio, faster refresh rate (just 1ms), and uses much less power.

Can you really see through Samsung's see-through display? Well you probably could. It's 40% transparent, and would mostly make it look like you applied window film to make a slight frosted effect. Samsung has also put this technology into a mirror, so you could have one in the bathroom while brushing your teeth. Have one in your bedroom and watch while you're getting ready.

Samsung's 55-incher will let you do things like virtually try on outfits in your wardrobe, check out the weather forecast, or run through the latest sports updates.

Samsung has opted for an Intel RealSense camera in their mirror, which means it could theoretically use a device for a Windows 10 computer. Possibly something like Intel's Compute Stick, which you could attach to an HDMI port if Samsung opts to include one.

So you could also use it to keep you updated on all tech news from TechDependent! Hopefully they will Include voice search, so that you don't need a remote or have to use a smartphone to navigate the Web.
