Techniques such as fingerprint recognition have become more of the norm. But one Swiss company is advancing on a method that allows a watch strap to ID you using your veins.

The watch consists of a Biowatch chip that contains a tiny camera to take a photo of the users' wrist veins.
The captured image is then stored in the wristband memory and compared to the users' vein pattern each time it is used. Biowatch states it can correctly authenticate a user 999 times out of 1,000.
Biowatch is working with smartwatch manufacturers to embed its technology into the next generation of wearables. The future of smartwatch security is looking bright.

The basic idea is that the user could then effortlessly unlock devices and replace various wallet cards and keys simply by wearing the device. Not only does it make life easy and convenient, it also ensure security in a simple and revolutionary way that makes this watch so unique.
