There’s been a lot of complaints regarding Android smartwatch inabilities, and one of them is the fact that YouTube videos cannot be played. However, a brand new app changes the game.

Video for Android Wear&YouTube’ is free for download from the Google Play store.

However, advantages also come with disadvantages. Not only is it difficult for you to type on a tiny keyboard and view videos on a very small screen, it’ll eat up the battery really quick. Also, you’re going to have to connect to speakers and headphones via Bluetooth to be able to hear the video’s audio.

Every day, smartwatches are becoming more and more popular and they are very good companions of our smartphones and tablets. They are very much connect to our smartphones and tablets and aren’t yet a standalone, individual piece of technology. We just need something more special in a smartwatch to make it unique and less of a smartphone side-man.
