During Mobile World Congress, HTC and Valve showed off thier own version of VR, (Virtual Reality) called HTC Vive.

And during demos the response was well received. Developers now have access to the headset. Vive is only meant for PC devices for the moment, and no plans to expand to Mac devices any time soon.
Inside the packaging you will find the headset itself, two lighthouse bases for position tracking along with two wireless controllers with several different cables. The units are shipping to movie studios, game developers plus more.

The Vive will offer a "full room scale 360 degree solution" for greater VR immersion, plus support for Unreal Engine 4. If the developers generate amazing content, the Vive could very well be the best VR headset to date. Only time will happen if it is true or not. The statement from Valve is below
Quote from Valve "[This week] we have started shipping the Vive Developer Editions, This first wave includes a wide range of developers from major movie studios, triple A developers, to small indie teams working on their first title. We will continue to ship to additional developers through the spring and summer."
