Samsung has been betting big on wireless charging lately, as they have both adopted the Qi and PMA wireless standard, and are even putting wireless charging into their flagship phones, such as the Galaxy S6/Edge. To continue with the hype of Wireless Charging, Samsung has announced two new monitors with the wireless charging support built in. The two models are the 24inch S24E370DL and the 27-inch S27E370DS, which again features Qi Wireless charging at the base of the monitor. Both of the monitors have a 1920x1080 resolution display and a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees plus contrast ratio of 100:1. The 27-inch monitor can reach a brightness of 300 cd.m2 while the 24-inch monitor can reach a brightness of 250 cd/m2. For connections the monitor has a HDMI 1.4 port, a Display Port and one D-Sub connector. The monitors also come with AMD FreeSync technology, which eliminates screen tearing when frame rates drop by matching the refresh rate to the output of your GPU, with a super fast 4ms response time, as well. Samsung has not specifically said the price or the availability of the monitor, but expect to see more coverage next month when IFA starts.
