Wireless charging is a great alternative for those who don't want to plug their phone into a cord that is too long or too short. And until now, it only works on phones that have a plastic build, or one with a glass back. That has changed as Qualcomm has announced WiPower, which can wirelessly charge a phone with a metal case. Nothing has changed in terms of charging speed, and is already shipped to manufacturers and licensees. Sounds like pretty soon, almost every phone will be able to wirelessly charge, which is a good thing.
