Google's new logo animation is amazingly cool

Google today announced the next version of their logo, which uses a custom sans-serif typeface in the typical Google colors, with a more flat and 'childlike' look to it, and the new logo complements Google's Material Design language quite well.
But what strikes me the most is the animation that uses the color dots to transforms into the G logo, that is found on smaller devices and then into the Google logo typeface. The animation is very smooth, clean, minimalistic that again has the design elements of Material Design. Like, I don't know how but the way that the first set of four dots swirl into the G logo astonishes me, and then even after how the G transforms back into the dots and then in turn transforms into the Google typeface by almost jumping out back at you is just mind-blowingly cool. I would not be mad one bit if someone replaced my desktop wallpaper with the GIF of the animation, and the change would ultimately waste my time because I would be staring at that all day transfixed on how amazingly cool it is, like words cannot describe how much I like it. It is interesting to see how Google has changed their typeface over the years, and I think that some of you readers can agree that the logo needed an update, even though if the change is a bit too drastic. But, to each his own, and I guarantee it that you'll get used or over it within the next couple of weeks. But I think that we all can agree that the animation is just too damn cool to ignore. If you agree or disagree, let's hear it in the comments below! I'd like to hear your opinion on the change.
