Skins Are The New Case

Cases are a great way to protect your Smartphone. However, this comes in the cost of design usually adding a good few millimetres onto your device. Skins are gradually becoming more and more popular combining protection and style. So what is a skin?

Essentially a skin is a sticker that wraps around the mobile. It can come in many designs, ranging from carbon fibre, wood and leather textures. Currently I am using a black carbon fibre skin on my Nexus 5. Skins also added more grip to your Smartphone- very handy for glass phones such as the Samsung S6 and Note 5. They give a unique look to your mobile, which personally I like a lot.

Skins do not add extra bulk unlike a traditional case. Although cases do protect your mobile more, skins can definitely protect your mobile from the odd scratch or two. The best skins can be found from Dbrand or Slickwraps for a relatively cheap price however other alternatives from Ebay also do the job for a much cheaper price. I would certainly recommend a skin if you are looking for style and protection!
