Moto X Style - What's New?
The Moto X Style, or Moto X Pure edition is Motorola's take on a flagship smartphone. So what has changed from the original Moto X?
The Moto X is based off the Nexus 6. It shares the same dual front facing speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and micro usb ports. To the naked eye you could easily mistake the two. However, the slightly smaller screen on the Moto X means a smaller footprint allowing better in hand use compared to the giant Nexus 6
Internally Motorola opted for the reliable Snapdragon 808 CPU backed up with 3GB of RAM. Although the processing package is not the best, the Moto X style is still a very powerful flagship. The camera department got a huge bump to 21mp and 4k video recording. This should result in much better photos compared to its predecessor. The battery capacity is at 3000mAh which should provide excellent battery life (especially since the Moto G's SOT is around 6hrs!). Quick charge is also present but the lack of wireless charging may be a deal breaker for some. The Moto X is also resistant to the odd splash thanks to its waterproof casing but cannot be fully submerged underwater like the Moto G.
The Moto X looks like a great all round performer with a good camera, speedy performance and great battery life...
