JBL FLIP - Review
The JBL Flip is an attractive, cheap and powerful set of portable Bluetooth speakers that can either be positioned horizontally or in a portrait mode. So how do the speakers perform?
I will start of the review with the contents in the packaging. Inside you will find the speaker unit itself, a nylon case, auxillary cable and charger. It's worth mentioning the charger is not the slandered micro usb port as you would expect.
The JBL Flip is a great sounding speaker, in fact it is the best one I have ever used. The sound is punchy and loud offering great bass and treble. It was surprising that such a small speaker was able to deliver such a loud and powerful sound. I was definitely impressed in this department!
Battery life was rather disappointing for me. I found in my testing it was able to play music via Bluetooth just short of 4 hours on moderate volume. It also took a significant amount of time to fully charge up which added more to my disappointment. In my other testings, my HNDX speaker could last a lot longer.
In conclusion, the JBL Flip is a great little speaker with amazing sound. The battery life is mediocre but decent for what it is. I would highly recommend the speaker if you're out there looking for a new one to bag!
