AKG K451 - Review!
The AKG K451 headphones are contenders for the best all round cans - so how do these £40 headphones stack up against the competition?
The AKG K451s were made to be portable, sporting a foldable design and hard carry case. The frame is made from metal while the casing uses plastic, giving an overall premium feel. The headphones are also lightweight, adding to its portability.
The sound produced by the K451s is simply amazing! For the size and price I can guarantee there are no better headphones on the market. Sound is crisp and punchy with deep bass and clarity. They can also get pretty loud without having too much distortion. The only downside to the headphones is the comfort. After long periods of wear I found my ears aching - this happens to me after around 1 hour of use. This resulted me in taking breaks while listening which I found annoying...
The AKG K451s were originally priced at £120. Even for that price I would still recommend them, but for £40 they are a steal!
