In a couple of weeks, we’ll be seeing the release of Xbox’s Halo 5: Guardians. The latest trailer of the game teases the death of Spartan John-117. Yes, Master Chief has fallen.
The first-person shooter game is set in the year 2560, which is nowhere near us in time. But Master Chief is too immortal for death. The game promises a lot of ups and downs so we'll have to explore what the future has in store for the Halo series.
We’ll be seeing gaming-fanatics all around the world busting out the game on the internet, television, gaming events etc. keeping the presence of Master Chief alive. Xbox’s Halo series of video games has been such a success for 14 years, and it seems to be continuing as gamers want more and more of it, although Microsoft planned to ditch the series after Halo 3.
My first impressions of the latest release are pretty positive; I’m not the biggest fan of video games, but due to my good memories of Halo as a young teenager, Master Chief is still a big friend of mine.
October 27, 2015, will spark all the Xbox Halo 5 gaming havoc, and Master Chief, being the symbol of the franchise, may appear on everything from soda to T-shirts and mugs. And we might even see the Cortana-themed lingerie that marketers for Halo 3 were planning on producing.
