Nexus 5 Spigen Slim Armour Case Review!

Delivery was extremely quick through the official Spigen store which was very pleasing. Unboxing the actual case felt like a premium experience since the case was delivered in a hard box. Inside the packaging was the case itself, and documentation verifying that it was, in fact, a genuine Spigen product.First impressions were great. The case felt solid and had a nice matte feel. However, I also noticed the weight of the case which was a considerable amount. Cut-outs for the camera, speaker and headphone jack were all perfect and large enough to cater for headphones requiring a larger port. The buttons are covered in the actual casing which adds even more protection. The downside to this is that tactile feedback is poor. I found it hard to press the buttons and it required me to press much harder which I found annoying. The back plate, as mentioned above, has a matte texture. This provides grip but also means that it is a fingerprint magnet. I found the case to be covered in fingerprints which was not pleasing since it made the case look cheap.
As with most Spigen cases, they usually offer air cushion technology; and this case is no different. This means that the case has a pocket of air on the corners on the case adding a "cushioning" effect and in turn breaking the fall of your smartphone. The case is also designed to be 1.5mm off the table when face down preventing scratches on your mobile screen.
In conclusion, the Spigen Slim Armour case offers style and protection at an affordable price point. I would highly recommend it!
