Nexus 6P - Black Window
The Nexus 6P was just announced earlier today by Google. People have been wondering about the black bar at the back-top of the device. So what is it exactly and why has Google placed it there? It’s not actually a black bar, it’s a window for the device and it makes sure that the Nexus 6P operates normally.
The phone is all metal based so it’s hard to get signals out of the device. The window is used to send and receive signals to and from the device.
According to Android Police one of the designers at Google confirmed this fact. That almost guarantees it’s a true fact. I hope Google put the bar there for an exact reason rather than a décor idea.
Do you think Google did the right thing by putting the window there?
