Samsung has been creating foldable display prototypes for a while and even showing them off at trade shows such as IFA and CES. But a new report via a "leakster with in-depth knowledge" is suggesting that the company will be preparing to launch a foldable smartphone sometime next year.
The device is reportedly called "Project Valley," and the source claims that it could be announced as early as January 2016. There could be a dual-display involved, where a larger display will be on the inside that folds over when the device's shell is closed. There could also be two different versions of the device, powered by two different Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. One with a high-end Snapdragon 820 processor, and one with a 620 SoC. There could also be 3GB of RAM assisting the processor, as well.

Samsung has mentioned previously that "the commercialization of foldable smartphones will be possible in 2016" and even patents of Project Valley has shown up earlier this year, but there is still a long time before costumers will be getting their hands on a retail-ready version of the foldable device.
