Beats is known for their headphones, earphones and speakers which come at an expensive price. On Wednesday Beats announced their first speaker since joining Apple. It’s called the Beat Pill+. This new speaker looks and sounds better than ever. It does have some Apple-like features with the design and Lightning port for charging.

The Pill+ will be a bit bigger than the Pill, but smaller than the Pill XL. It will be the first Bluetooth speaker to have a Lightning port to charge it. They say it the Lightning port will charge it faster with a full charge in just 3 hours. They flattened out the top to give it a more stable feel. The button layout has also changed now being at the top laid out horizontally. It will be able to play music for around 12 hours and has a USB so you can charge your phone.

Beats is also launching a new app to go with the speaker called the Pill Plus and will be available for Android and iOS. It will let you connect multiple speakers and also let multiple people control the speakers.

The Beats Pill+ will launch in November and it will cost $230.
