Samsung and Barnes & Noble announce the Galaxy Tab E NOOK

Samsung and Barnes & Noble sure have a winning combination, Samsung provides the hardware for the tablet while Barnes & Noble provides the software that E-Reader users want. That partnership does it again as they have recently announced the Galaxy Tab E NOOK, which is a $250 tablet with some useful features.

The Tab E NOOK has the same design language that we have seen on other tablets made by Samsung, with a non-slip fabric-like material on the back that should make the tablet easier to hold and not drop. There is a 9.6-inch display at 180 x 800 pixels and offers a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. There is 16GB of storage included, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card slot.

The Tab E Nook comes with some useful software features included, such as NOOK profiles, which lets each family member have a specialised reading and entertainment experience. There is also set up user profiles for children in mind, such as accessing kid-friendly content. Samsung's Multi-Window feature is also included.

While the specifications of the tablet isn't that great, what you're paying for is the option to access Barnes & Nobles features on a tablet at not a huge cost. If you are interested, you can buy the tablet by hitting the source link below.
