HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition

The HTC One M9 was a disaster for HTC in many ways. The CPU overheated, the camera was poor and the display department lacked 2K resolution like many other flagships. HTC responded by releasing the HTC One M9+, a better variant with supposedly upgraded specs. One of the improvements was in the camera department which offered the DUO focus feature the One M8 had. However, the camera still performed badly leading HTC to release yet another variant dubbed the HTC One M9 + Supreme Camera Edition.

The HTC One M9 Supreme Camera Edition is basically the same as the HTC One M9+, offering all the same great specifications. As a reminder, that includes the eight core Helio X10 CPU, 3GB RAM, 5.2" QHD display, fingerprint scanner, 2840mAh battery and dual facing HTC Boomsound speakers.

The camera department has slightly changed, however, with a larger 21MP sensor with OIS and laser autofocus for more stable pictures and videos as well as quicker focusing times. HTC have told us that the laser autofocus will allow focus speeds as fast as 0.1 seconds. HTC have still retained the DUO camera set up. However, instead of the secondary camera, the OIS and Laser Autofocus are present.

The roll out of the upgraded flagship has already taken place in Taiwan on the 6th of October. The HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition will set you back at $630.
