Tag Heuer - Android Wear powered smartwatch

Earlier this week, we heard about the release of the Fossil Q Founder, a smartwatch from a traditional watch manufacturer. However, Tag Heuer will join the smartwatch foray, and will announce their luxury smartwatch on the 9th of November. So here is what we know so far... ​

The Swedish company will release a circular smartwatch and will only use premium materials for a luxurious timepiece. The price will set you back at a staggering $1800 making it the most expensive Android Wear smartwatch to date.

We have no exact specifications of the device, but Tag Heuer have confirmed an Intel CPU at the heart of the device. This will be the second Android Wear smartwatch to be powered by an Intel CPU after the Fossil Q Founder. As for battery life, Tag Heuer have boasted 40 hours of use from a single charge which is quite impressive considering most smartwatches need to be plugged in after one day of use.

As mentioned above, the price is a hefty one. However, the Apple Watch Edition will set you back for a whopping $10,000 so could this be Android
