HTC M9e launches in China
Today HTC unveiled yet another device. Taking the name as the HTC ONE M9e, the new handset is essentially a cross between the HTC ONE M9 and the recently announced HTC ONE A9.
The design is exactly the same as the ONE M9 offering little change from HTC's flagship device. The screen size measures in at 5 inches with a 1080p panel at the show. Under the hood is the eight-core Helio X10 CPU paired up with 2GB of RAM.
As for the camera setup, you will find the exact same 13MP sensor on the HTC ONE A9. Round the front is the same UltraPixel selfie camera found on most HTC devices. The M9e will only shoot 1080p video and not 4K - which is surprising as the Helio X10 CPU is more than capable of handling 4K.
The M9e will run Android Lollipop out the box rather than the Android Marshmallow operating software found on its A9 sibling which is rather disappointing.
As for pricing, the HTC ONE M9e will be available for $425. For comparison, the A9 can be purchased for $399.
