104 Xbox 360 games backwards compatible on Xbox One

Microsoft previously announced that the Xbox One was going to have backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games, unlike the competition, the PS4 which can’t play PS3 games. Now, Microsoft has released a list of the 104 Xbox 360 games playable on the Xbox One.

Playable on the 12th of November, many fan favourites are on the list of playable games, with Borderlands, Assassin’s Creed II, Mirror’s Edge, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, the complete Gears of War series and many others. To view the complete list click here.

Microsoft has also announced that many more titles like Halo Reach, Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and many others will soon be released. This is a great step in development as many people now don’t have to buy an Xbox 360 to play these classic titles, even if they are now dirt cheap. It also is a boost in competition against the PS4, the Xbox One’s main rival, but we’ll have to see how this turns out on the 12th of November, when they are released.
