In an event in New York today, Tag Heuer finally announced its ‘Connected Watch’, after months of speculation and rumours. The Connected Watch runs Android Wear, Google's smartwatch Operating System, and costs $1,500.

Tag Heuer's watch is the first android wear watch to sell for over $1000 in stores, and the company sure are pushing their product: It has 6 different straps, a titanium body - giving stylishness, but not making it heavy - and 3 custom made watchfaces, each one available in blue, black and white.
Inside, we can see an intel processor, which isn't something that we've become accustomed to seeing in android wear watches. Its display has sapphire crystals protecting it, and its battery is supposed to last 'all day', but we don't get any specifics. It also comes with Bluetooth, WiFi and a microphone.
The Connected Watch is available today from Tag Heuer and other premium watch retailers, but it is yet to be seen whether or not people will splash the cash for a watch that will probably be obsolete in a years time, when you could buy a normal watch for that much, and get over 5 years from it.
