OnePlus Marshmallow update schedule

OnePlus recently released their plan to update to Marshmallow and it seems all three devices will get the software, even if it takes time.
The OnePlus One will get the new update and it will be based on the next version of Cyanogen Mod. The update is expected to arrive in Q1 in 2016. Oxygen OS, the companies own ROM, will also be available for download, but that will arrive at a later point. It is worth mentioning that a Stable version of the ROM may take even more time, but it is good to know that OnePlus are still updating their older devices.
The OnePlus two will receive the Oxygen OS update to 6.0 at the same time as its predecessor. The update will include developers to use the default Google API for the fingerprint scanner. All the features such as Doze and Now On Tap will be present.
The newly released device, the OnePlus X will receive the update, but the release date is yet be confirmed. We are estimating the update to hit OnePlus X users by Q2 2016.
