Star Wars Battlefront is extremely popular on the PS4
The most recent game in the Star Wars Battlefront series has sold more games on PlayStation's PS4 Gaming console than both Microsoft's Xbox One and PC sales combined, according to p-stats.com. When comparing the numbers, there were 180,000 active users on the PS4 opening weekend. There were only about 105,000 users on the Xbox One and only 48,000 users using PC's. What is interesting however, is the fact that the percentage of users playing Battlefront roughly matches the estimates of how many consoles were sold for both Playstation and Microsoft. Battlefront has been mainly marketed towards as a console game, so it isn't surprising that the PC sales have a lower percentage. With more aggressive PC marketing, the percentage should only get bigger with time. If you or someone you know is looking to pick up Star Wars Battlefront, the PS4 is right now the best option money can buy.
