Rumor says Apple is already testing the 5th Gen. Apple TV
The 4th generation Apple TV was just released this year, 3 years after the 3rd generation was unveiled. The next generation, however, could come next year. A new rumor says that Apple is already testing out the 5th generation Apple TV to launch next year.
DigiTimes say that they will improve performance by adding a more powerful processor and also a “heat-dissipation solution” to take care of the new power. The Apple TV could also offer new features that you wouldn’t expect a streaming box to have. Production on the rumored Apple TV is set to begin in early 2016.
However, DigiTimes isn’t always correct with their rumors, so this might not even be true and they might not even be making a new Apple TV.
