Samsung patents design for a new Smart Ring
Electronics giant, Samsung, could be on the verge of launching an all-new “smart ring” accessory that will enable the user to complete various tasks, by controlling smartphones, tablets, TVs, and smart-home systems.
There is a new patent filed with the US Patent & Trademark Office, which indicates the appearance and uses of the smart ring. The smart ring can be connected to a smartphone which will allow the user to manage and operate controls via a menu which indicates the range of functions of the ring.
Competitors such as Apple, and Google, are all browsing through the potential area of smart rings, as they’ve also filed some patents. Samsung’s creativity could enable the company to stand out with their new product like they have done many times in the past.
By introducing this new piece of technology, Samsung could open up many doors for the future. Would, could, and should Samsung make the move? 2016 holds the answer.
