You can now run Android on your PC
Android apps are very useful when it comes to daily use, but the only issue is that they’re available on only smartphone and tablets that operate Android. But how exactly do you run Android apps on an actual PC?
You can download ‘Remix OS’ on your PC and run it for absolutely no price at all. What Remix OS basically is, is an operating system that’s a combination of Android and Windows mixed together. Jide, the group who created this smart operating system, have decided to keep it free of charge for anyone who would prefer to utilise Android on a PC.
Starting from the 12th of January, you can download Remix OS. However, you will need an x86 computer, in order for the operating system to properly work, as well as an FAT32 USB 3.0 flash drive with at least 8GB of free storage space available on it.
All you have to do next is restart your PC, and boot it directly from the USB device. Thereafter, you’ll be able to enjoy Android on your computer – on a user interface that consists of a mixture of Windows and Android. The USB device can be dropped into your pocket and used on any x86 computer you come across. So yes, you can now brag about carrying an Android PC in your pocket.
Did I mention that you can use the Android PC on Macs as well?
