iTunes Radio No Longer Free
Yesterday, Apple sent out an email which disappointed many users of their radio channel 'iTunes Radio.' The email exclaimed that as of January 28th, their answer to Pandora, iTunes Radio, will only come as part of their customers (paid) Apple Music subscription.
"All radio stations except for Beats 1 will be available exclusively to Apple Music members." This means that listening to Apple employed DJs will still be free. If you want to listen to a station that is based on a genre of music, or a particular artist, it will cost you £9.99 per month.
This wholo ordeal comes as part of Apple's ongoing battle with their number 1 rival,Spotify, not Pandora, in the battle for supreme music. This battle will likely see both Apple and Spotify brining new ideas and music updates to the table.
