Microsoft HoloLens

In 2016, many virtual reality headsets will be releasing. Some of these include the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR, which will spoil you for choice.

Microsoft's approach to the Virtual Reality scene is the HoloLens. We have seen on-stage demos, which have not failed to please ones eye. The release date is still not confirmed, although there is almost no doubt it will have a 2016 debut. Battery life is going to be pretty short with a petty 5 and a half hours maximum use or 2 and a half hours of 'heavy use.' The device will be 'totally wireless.' This point outshines other Virtual Reality Headsets going in the near future, and throughout this year. Wi-fi and Bluetooth will work together to create this experience. The view while wearing the headset will be equivalent to looking at a 15 inch monitor. As the price drops, Microsoft hopes to extend this viewing range, however. There are reports that 2 HoloLens devices can be connected, creating an even more realistic simulation experience. As always, stay tuned for more updates, and check out our social media pages!
