Microsoft's all-new iOS keyboard

Microsoft is well-known for making various apps for smartphones, tablets, as well as PCs. And now, they are reportedly cooking up a keyboard that will work best for one-handed use. The keyboard on the iPhone is still being examined and developed, and it has basically been updated a little for improved usability.

At the moment, the keyboard is being prepared for iOS devices. Once the user switches the one-hand mode on, they will have the option to switch it to either the left or right of the screen. How it works is that it is based in a fanned layout, and enables the user to using one hand – that’s probably when your other hand is occupied.

The keyboard is being tested within Microsoft’s research and development labs and will soon be open to the public to test it out. Facilities that the keyboard currently comes with consist of: word suggestions and the user’s ability to completely type words by swiping across a range of letters.

For the time being, Microsoft’s new Word Flow keyboard will soon be on iOS devices – not forgetting that it’ll also be on Android devices later this year.
