Apple recalls Chargers and Travel kits, could you be at risk?
If you or someone you know is from Europe, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand or South Korea and have bought any Apple product that included a wall charger since 2003, then you might want to avoid using it, because Apple is recalling the chargers included due to 12 reported cases of electrical shocks with these chargers being the root of the problem.
If your charger looks like the picture above then it is advisable for you to head over to Apple's decicated page about the issue to find out more information if you need a replacement charger and where you can get one.
This to be quite a rare occurence for the company, as Apple is normally very good with having sound products without much if any issues. Although this reputation may be starting to slip because this is the second time this week that Apple has had to fix problems with some of their products. In case you forgot, there was a problem on certain Mac's where opening safari to a specific website caused the app to crash. Apple has since fixed the issue.
