Jaybird's new earbuds come with one unique feature
Jaybird at CES 2016 announced two new earbuds with one unique feature. The Jaybird Freedom and Jaybird X3 have the ability to have custom sound profiles, thanks to a new patent-pending app.
Jaybird claims that the new Freedom earbuds are their "most advanced" earbuds to date. They have a patented "tapered step-down design" alongside Comply foam tips with "enhanced comfort" ear fins that will deliver a comfortable fit, even with smaller ears. The Freedom will get up to 8 hours of music playback time, with a four-hour charge time.
There is little to no difference between the Jaybird X2 and the X3, besides new colors and possibly newer quality parts.
Jaybird is releasing their new MySound app with the new headphones, which would allow the user to setup and download custom sound profiles that can be used on whatever music app you use. The app is available on both Android and iOS.
the new Jaybird Freedom will cost $199 and will be available in Q2. The new X3 earbuds will cost $149 and will be available in Q3. Stay Tuned to TechDependent for more CES 2016 coverage. To see all of our coverage, use the CES 2016 tags and/or categories.
