Yes, you've heard the headline right. LG has incorporated some useful features into their new fridge announced at CES 2016 this week. More specifically, the Signature fridge has two useful features, the first of which is called Knock-On. Knock-On works by simply knocking on the door and the interior lights will illuminate the whole fridge to reveal what is inside thanks to the semi-transparent window on the right side door. The second feature is called Auto Door. How that works is the fridge will automatically detect when someone is coming to the fridge and it will automatically open the doors. The fridge is even smart enough to detect when it is actually you, and not your baby/toddler or your pet.
LG hasn't confirmed any information about it's price or availability. Stay Tuned to TechDependent for all of our CES 2016 coverage. To see all of our coverage, use the CES 2016 tags and/or category.
