Misfit announces a new fitness tracker with a different design
Misfit at CES 2016 announced a new fitness tracker called Ray, which uses a different design than what Misfit has used previously. The Ray tracker is in a cylindrical shape and can be used in many different ways. It can be worn on your wrist, or as a necklace. You'll also be able to pair it with Misfit-branded and even custom accessories to make the band your own.
The ray has a rechargeable battery that will last up to six months of battery life, according to Misfit. There is a three-axis accelerometer which tracks physical activity, as well as sleep. It also has a vibration motor inside, which will allow it to let you know when you need to move, alert you of incoming text messages, calls and more. The Ray will be available for purchase in two colors, carbon black or rose gold for $99, and it will ship around spring 2016. Stay Tuned to TechDependent for more CES 2016 coverage.
