LG has a massive 98-inch 8K TV at CES 2016

LG has a bunch of 4K, HDR and curved TV's at CES this year, but they also have a TV that you've probably haven't heard about before, the UH9800. The UH9800 is a 98-inch "super ultra-definition" 8K TV. It even has seven moving speakers that LG claims adds an "impactful" visual and audio experience. While the TV isn't the largest to ever hit the show floor, it is one of the largest 8K displays ever produced.

However, 8K TV's still have a long way to go before we can have them in our living rooms anytime soon. Even when they do come available for purchase, they certainly won't be affordable, as Sharp has an 85-inch 8K TV that costs roughly $133,000.

Within the next couple of years, as 4K starts to become cheaper and more well known, we could see camera and TV manufacturers begin to create higher quality videos that will push the industry even further.
