Samsung has taken a break from Windows 10 devices for some time now, and even Windows enabled products as a whole. Now, they're back at CES 2016 with their new Galaxy TabPro S, which revives their TabPro line and offers a two-in-one with Windows 10.

The TabPro S replaces the Tab S2's soft-touch plastic back for a more sturdy magnesium alloy frame. Since this is the Pro model, it will have Intel's 6th generation dual-core M processor clocked at 2.2GHz with 4GB of RAM and either 128 or 256GB of onboard solid-state storage. Samsung is also including a keyboard case with the device, as well. The TabPro S has a 12-inch Super AMOLED screen, that has a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which is the first for a Windows 10 machine. It is important to mention that the tablet is only 6.3mm thick, which is thinner than the Surface Pro 4 and the iPad Pro. The tablet also weighs only 1.53 pounds, without the keyboard. There is a USB-C port for charging the 5,200mAh battery, as well. On the front and back, there are 5-megapixel cameras. Samsung plans on releasing an LTE version of the tablet, but there is no word when.

What makes the tablet the Pro model is because of the neat productivity features that it can offer. First, the keyboard magnetically attaches to the tablet, which according to Engadget, the keyboard has pretty shallow key travel, but is a more spacious keyboard to use. Additionally, there is an NFC tab onboard the keyboard, so you can connect your phone to the keyboard to unlock the PC with your fingerprint on your Samsung phone.

There is no pricing or a specific launch date yet, but it should be available for purchase around February. Stay tuned to TechDependent for more CES 2016 coverage. To see all of our coverage, use the CES 2016 tags and/or category.
