BLU announces two new phones at CES 2016


BLU, the popular phone manufacturer who's headquarters is located in Florida announced two new phones at CES today, the Vivo 5 and the Vivo XL. Both of the phones have Super AMOLED screens, an octa-core MediaTek processor, and a metal unibody design.

Starting off with the Vivo 5, it has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display that has a 1280 x 720 resolution, with a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor that is aided by 3GB of RAM. Inside, there is 32GB of internal storage with a 3150mAh battery. On the back there is a 13-megapixel sensor while a 5-megapixel sensor is found at the front. The phone also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It is important to mention that this is also a 4G-LTE capable device that has Dual-SIM support. It will be available in a white-silver color option, as well as a solid gold color. It will launch in February on Amazon and at BestBuy.com for only $199.00

The specifications and design on the Vivo 5 XL are very similar to the Vivo 5, but the Vivo XL only comes with 16GB of internal storage that does also include a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion, as well as 2GB of RAM, instead of 3. The XL version will be available in liquid gold, chrome silver, midnight blue and rose gold color options at Amazon and BestBuy.com in January for $149.00.
