Dell's new monitor can wirelessly charge your phone

Dell at CES 2016 announced their first ever wireless monitors that has one useful feature, Qu and PMA wireless charging for smartphones. Samsung introduced this feature last year, but now we are seeing this technology continue to other manufacturers.

Dell's 23 Wireless Monitor has a 23-inch full HD display that can let you cast your phone's screen from both Android and Windows phones either via Bluetooth or Miracast. The base of the monitor has that aforementioned built-in charging pad. The monitor also has dual three-watt speakers and a wide 178-degree viewing angle, with an HDMI and two USB 2.0 ports.

Dell's bigger wireless monitor has a 23.8-inch display called the Dell 24 Wireless monitor. It doesn't feature wireless charging, but it does have USB 3.0 ports with better color reproduction and a smaller bezel.

Both monitors will be available on March 31st. The 24-inch model will cost $469, while the 23-inch model will cost $429. Stay Tuned to TechDependent for more CES 2016 covergage. To see all of our coverage, use the CES 2016 tags and/or category.
