Dell's two new 2-in-1 tablets have a USB-C connection
Dell announces two new 2-in-1 tablets that have the USB-C connection and are business centered at CES this year, the Latitude 12 7000 series and the Latitude 11 5000 series.
Starting off with the Latitude 12 7000 series, it is a 12.5-inch tablet that weighs about 1.61 pounds and is just 8mm thin. It can be configured with Windows 10 or Windows 8 as well as Intel's Core M3, M5 or M7 processors. The Gorilla Glass screen can either be configured with a 4K UHD panel or a full HD panel. It also has two USB 3.1 ports, which supports USB-C and Thunderbolt connections. There are an SD card reader and a MicroSIM card slot. In case you need to take pictures on the tablet, there is an 8-megapixel sensor on the front and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front.
The Latitude 11 5000 series is Dell's lower-end version, with only a Full-HD resolution panel that comes with a thicker bezel and a more rounded design. There is only an option for Intel's Core M3 and M5 processors, but does have the option for Windows 8 or 10. There is only one USB-C connector, one USB 3.0 port, a micro HDMI, microSIM and an SD card slot.
Both of the new 2-in-1 tablets will come with keyboards when they are available this February. The Latitude 12 will cost $1,049 for the base model while the Latitude 11 will cost only $749.
