The Kangaroo is probably the smallest Windows 10 PC at CES this year

Yes, that is a weird name. But probably what isn't so weird is what it is. The Kangaroo is a portable Windows 10 PC that was launched by InFocus back in October last year, and now it is making its official debut at CES 2016.

There is an Intel Atom processor inside, alongside 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, all inside a package that looks a lot like an SSD. Interestingly, there is a battery inside that can power the device for up to four hours, which makes this thing different than the other portable Windows 10 devices we've seen this far.

The Kangaroo will only cost $99, which is kinda surprising for what it offers. There is a dock that is included with the Kangaroo which allows you to connect it to a monitor via an HDMI port, as well as two USB ports. Interestingly, you can connect the Kangaroo to an iPad via the dock, which utilises a custom app that can display Windows 10 on the iPad's screen, which would give some additional functionality to the iPad Pro. There is no word on when the Kangaroo would be available to buy or ship to consumers, however. Stay tuned to TechDependent for more CES 2016 coverage.
