iPhone 7 Plus could have more storage and a larger battery

As the new year starts, we are getting closer and closer to the iPhone 7's release. And with that, comes more and more rumors. The latest rumor according to Chinese website MyDrivers claims that the iPhone 7 could have a 256GB storage option as well as a larger 3,100 mAh battery, to differentiate itself with the smaller iPhone 7 model.
The rumor does not specify if Apple will still have a 16GB base storage option for the iPhone 7 Plus, or if Apple would change the current storage options to a higher compatibility, such as 32GB, 128GB and 256GB instead of the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB options currently available.
If the iPhone 7 Plus does have the larger 3,100 mAh battery, it would be 12.7% bigger than the current iPhone 6S Plus's battery. However, this part of the rumor is questionable as another rumor states that the phones will be as thin as Apple's iPod Touch models. Additionally, the report adds confirmation that the screen sizes will stay the same for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, both at 4.7 and 5.5-inch screens, respectively.
As far as other rumors for the upcoming iPhone, Apple could remove the 3.5mm headphone connector for an all-in-one lightning connector, which would aid in making the phone around 6.0mm and 6.5mm thin, as well as a waterproof design. Both models may have a faster TSMC-built A10 chip and an Intel 7360 LTE model, as well as a non-metallic casing that would lead to hidden antenna bands. The iPhone 7 Plus could have 3GB of RAM, as well. Again, these are all rumors and should be taken lightly until Apple officially releases the iPhone 7 sometime around September.
