Acer's $100 tablet is targeted towards families

Acer just recently at CES 2016 announced the Iconia One 8, a $100 tablet with its goal is to help out families with children. As far as specifications go, the tablet will have a MediaTak Quad-Core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and a 5MP rear camera with a 2MP front-facing camera. The tablet will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop installed. The Iconia One 8 will be available for purchase in February in the US for the aforementioned price of $100 and in Europe it will launch for €129.
According to Acer: "The Iconia One 8 (B1-850) ships preloaded with Kids Center, an app featuring a simplified child-friendly user interface, and pre-screened content appropriate for children, including videos, games, books and websites. It also features parental control feature such as blocking access to unapproved content, pre-selecting content for children, or even setting a daily time limit for using the tablet."
