Oculus Rift pre-orders start this week with one downside
Yes, you've heard me right. The Oculus Rift pre-orders start this week, on January 6th to be exact. However, there are no pricing options just yet, even though the company says it will provide "everything you need to know to order your Rift" when the pre-orders start on Wednesday. Rift's general release to the market will start sometime in early 2016.
Additional information about the Rift's pre-order includes the fact that it will come with copies of Lucky's tale and a space fighter action game called Eve: Valkyrie. There will be an XBox One wireless controller included, as well as the option to have Xbox-to-Widows game streaming in a VR environment.
We recently covered news that the Touch controllers for the rift are delayed until the second half of 2016. In case you didn't read that article, or forgot what they are, theTouch controllers are a pair of motion-sensing accessories that would allow the users to use VR more naturally with their arms and hands. Will you be picking up a Oculus Rift, let us know in the comments below or on any of our social media pages!
